BRADY QUINN IS QUINTESSENTIAL AS NOTRE DAME WINS

Brady Quinn, Notre Dame's QB and Heisman Tropy candidate, led the Irish to their 8th win of the season, beating Syracuse in South Bend this afternoon, 34-10, throwing for 2 touchdown passes, passing for 270 yards, and with 3,201 total passing yards this season becoming the first quarterback in Fighting Irish history to surpass the 3,000 yard mark.

Notre Dame travels to Standford for its final regular season game next week and, if victorious, will have earned a BCS berth -- its first since 2000.
