Just how is it that Patrick Ruffini knows a priori that Harriet Miers is going to be a splendid addition to the Scalia-Thomas (and hopefully Roberts) wing of the U.S. Supreme Court when those of us center-right polibloggers baffled over the president's choice are being told to hold our consternation in check until we see what the Senate Judiciary Committee is able to ferret out from the nominee during her confirmation hearing? Is blind support any less irresponsible than highly-charged pique?
