TEXAS EDGES OHIO STATE 25-22 IN COLUMBUS

The University of Texas Longhorns, ranked #2 in the country, took a big step in their bid for a National Championship this season by prevailing 25-22 over the #4-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes in Columbus tonight. Texas' Heisman Trophy candidate, QB Vince Young, hooked up with Limas Sweed on a brilliant 24-yard go-ahead touchdown pass in the 4th Quarter. The Longhorns finished their scoring with a 2-point safety with just 19 seconds remaining on the clock.

It'll be a sweet trip back to Austin for the Longhorns on a weekend that saw three Top-Ten ranked Big 10 teams lose: Michigan to Notre Dame; Iowa to Iowa State; and, of course, Ohio State to Texas!
