LOUISIANA'S POLITICIANS: Mus' Know Sumpin', But Don't Say Nuthin'

Read this from Lorie Byrd of "Polipundit" and this from "Mark In Mexico" and unless you're a raging Leftie you'll come to see that the levee ruptures in New Orleans may have been more about long-standing political corruption and misguided pork barrel spending in Louisiana than the fury and storm surge of Hurricane Katrina. The mainstream media is, alas, coming to see that George Bush was never hellbent on underfunding the Army Corps of Engineers to the detriment of New Orleans.

NOTE: With apologies to Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II.
