CLINTON: IS IT HIS PSYCHOLOGICAL MAKE-UP OR PLAIN REPREHENSIBLE BEHAVIOR?

"The Anchoress" has come off of a weekend of light blogging to publish this lengthy exegesis on former president Bill Clinton, who had the effrontery to do a 180 degree turn from his former public positions of support and go on the offensive against President Bush ('43), rather than keeping with the long-standing tradition (save for Jimmy Carter's insufferable impudence) of former presidents not criticising the current occupant of the White House.

It's a good read, but a bit heavy on the conjecture surrounding the psychological underpinnings of Clinton's youth and persistent immaturity. I'm more inclined to go with Lorie Byrd's nail-on-the-head observation: Bill Clinton is just a slimeball.
