MAYOR OF DOUGLAS, ARIZONA COMMENTS ON NEW MEXICO'S "STATE OF EMERGENCY"

Ray Borane, the mayor of Douglas in southeastern Arizona, has a comment for the governor of New Mexico -- a border state in which a "State of Emergency" has just been declared in four counties owing to out-of-control illegal immigration and illicit drug-running.

The mayor had this to say:

If he thinks they're having a problem over there, it's nothing like what's going on over here. He hasn't even seen the tip of the iceberg.
According to the story linked to in "azcentral.com," there have been 220 assaults on U.S. Border Patrol agents since October 1, 2004, along the Arizona-Mexico contiguous border.

Sounds like a war to me.
