INTERESTING PERSPECTIVES ON THE RUN-AWAY BRIDE STORY

There are those in the blogosphere who think that John Mason would be a damn fool to marry the run-away bride, Jennifer Wilbanks, after the horrendous stunt she pulled on him, family and friends, and authorities in Georgia and New Mexico. But then along comes this perspective from a respected blogger in "ACSOL's" blogroll and it makes one think. Thank you, Greg!

And there are legions in the mainstream media and, to be sure, among the "talking heads" of 24/7 cable news who are in lockstep with Gwinnett County, GA, District Attorney Danny Porter that something must be done to punish the duplicitous Jennifer Wilbanks for her transgressions. The news media's frenzy is feeding the news junkies' frenzy and the moralists (yours truly, included, I must admit) come out of the woodwork and want to have their pound of flesh. But then along comes this perspective in a series of posts from a respected blogger in "ACSOL's" blogroll and it makes one think. Thank you, Frank!

If you don't have "The Hobbesian Conservative and "Common Sense Junction" in your site's blogroll, I encourage you to add them! Greg and Frank are independent thinkers, they never fall prey to the herd mentality, and quite often they're on the money with an incisive perspective. I know the Houston Astros could use guys like these with their kind of batting averages!
