Frank Laughter, as is his custom (and his allure as a blogger), pulls no punches in this post on a couple of dyed-in-the-wool Senate RINOs (Republicans-in-name-only): Chuck Hagel of Nebraska and John McCain of Arizona.

Mr. Laughter writes:

Notice, I didn’t use the standard form of listing his name (Chuck Hagel (R-NE)). That’s because he is NOT a Republican. He bills himself as a Republican to get elected but at the core, he’s more Democrat than most Democrats. — Look up his record.

Hagel gets his cue from John McCain. I’ve often marveled at how misled the public can become by latching onto labels. John McCain is ideologically a Democrat on most important social issues and he’s a sleazy immoral underhanded operator on all issues. McCain’s personal life makes Newt Gingrich look like a saint, yet, because Gingrich is a conservative, the media pilloried him until Republicans did what they always do; agreed with MSM and threw him overboard.

I'm in your corner, Frank!
