Among my favorite blogs and, as you can see, linked in my blogroll, is "Stones Cry Out", which has just been re-formatted with a wonderful new design and magnificent template header. It has also segued into a group blog, with a broader content scope and contributors from across the country. If you have never been by, or not been by recently, stop in and enjoy!

Its vision:

Stones Cry Out is a group blog produced by five contributors who seek to make the site a daily crossroads (Jeremiah 6:16) of news, analysis, spiritual insight, accountability, humor, and outrage. We present a mix of original content and links to the best of the blogosphere. SCO captures the work of a diverse group of professionals who are committed to being constantly relevant, always reverant, and fearlessly honest.

We believe the role of a blog produced by followers of Christ is to--like Paul at Mars Hill--"reason in the marketplace day by day with those who happen to be there" (Acts 17:17). As we contend for the faith, we seek to bring glory to Jesus Christ (Luke 19:40), and advance His kingdom.

We cover current events, faith, politics, music, law, media, sports, science, art, culture, and community-and we wrestle with the ideas that draw us together and pull us apart. We intend to build a readership among both Christians and seekers.

Stones Cry Out is presented by contributors from the far west to the east, and from Dixie to the Northwoods.
