"DEAN'S A FAIT ACCOMPLI ... HE'S IN"

The New York Times reports this morning that Dr. Howard Dean appears to be a shoe-in for the Democratic National Committee's Chairman slot on the heels of Martin Frost's decision to pull himself out of contention for lack of securing much-needed endorsements from major labor unions. Indeed, Gerald McEntee, head of a large public employees union, said that Dean had become overnight a fait accompli, concluding Dean's going to be it.
