James Taranto sets the record straight in this WSJ column. Barbara Boxer seems to be suffering from a very selective memory. Taranto does a nice job in reminding Senator Boxer of the facts.

By the way, and putting in abeyance for a moment if we might the nine-lived WMD issue, why is it that Saddam Hussein's attempt to have Bush '41 assassinated was never a big deal among Democrats and particularly the detractors of the war? I don't understand that one. That, the genocide Saddam directed, his warmongering, his invasion of Kuwait -- there was ample justification for going in and taking him out.
