"IF VITAL LIGHT ..."; "A CERTAIN SLANT OF LIGHT"

As you might expect, I thoroughly enjoyed this post by "The Big Trunk" over at Powerline on the poetry of Emily Dickinson (among my favorite poets), as the genesis of this blog came from having read her poem, A Certain Slant of Light, and been inspired by it, albeit with an admittently different interpretation than most give it. But that's the beauty and allure of poetry -- that we can take from any poem a nuance of meaning that touches us.

It's nice to find a poliblogger with a similar affinity for poetry!
