Grandpa Higgins & Grandson Matthew

This is the older (obviously) of my grandsons, five-and-a-half year old James Matthew Higgins (who goes by Matthew). He was sporting a pair of chapped lips in this photo. No wonder with the considerable snowfall in Louisville and unusually cold, Christmas weather. Grandpa and Granny gave him a "Tarantula" for Christmas and he was delighted. As we told Matt, Santa Claus got in touch with us, said he had run out of inventory, and needed help. So my wife shopped the stores in our neck of the woods, found a Tarantula, and it went in the back of the Jeep 4x4 with everything else for our automobile "adventure" through Arkansas, Tennessee and Kentucky. Santa's sleigh would have been more suitable for this trip -- that's for sure!
