This is as it should be. Good! There are 11 people dead and scores of injured because a purported drug abuser, who had allegedly threatened his own wife and family, chose to bail out on a suicide attempt while his automobile still straddled the center of three sets of train tracks in Glendale, California. The handwringers will be out in force, as the charged, no matter how heinous the crime, always become center stage while the victims and their families get lost in the shuffle; but, I applaud the D.A.'s office. The prosecuters have done the right thing. Whatever personal problems this man may have had absolutely pale against those he created for others.
